Clock Facelet

The Clock Facelet renders a complete round analog clock with hour, minute, second and alarm hands, tick marks, a dial and a center dot.
Every element is individually configurable.

Configuration

  • Position
    X, Y center position in screen coordinates [mil].

  • Diameter
    Diameter of the clock in [mil].

  • Time Source
    The time source for the clock. Supports data binding to a time provider.
    Leave empty to use the system time.

  • Step Seconds / Step Minutes / Step Hours
    Movement step for each hand. Seconds step is in [ms], minutes in [sec], hours in [min].
    Use 1000 for seconds to get a normal ticking second hand, or 100 for a smoother sweep.

  • Background Color
    Background circle color.

  • Border Color / Border Width
    Color and width of the outer border.

  • Scale Hands
    Scale hand sizes proportionally to the clock diameter.

  • 24-Hour Mode

    Mode Description

    12h

    Standard 12-hour clock.

    24h

    24-hour clock (one revolution per day).

    24h Inverted

    24-hour clock with inverted rotation.

Hands (Hours, Minutes, Seconds, Alarm)

Each hand has the following settings:

  • Tip / Mid / End
    Length of each hand segment in [mil].

  • Tip Width / Mid Width / End Width
    Width of each hand segment in [mil].

    Round cap.

    Rounded

    Rounded cap.

    Triangle

    Triangle cap.

    Arrow

    Arrow cap.

    Ball

    Ball cap.

  • End Cap

    Style Description

    Nock

    Nock (notched) cap.

  • Outline Width
    Width of the hand outline.

  • Hand Color / Outline Color
    Fill and outline colors.

  • Ambient Draw
    Hand rendering in ambient mode: Solid or Hollow.

  • Hand Display Mode / Hand Ambient Color
    Individual display mode and ambient color per hand.

Tick Marks (Hours, Minutes, Seconds)

  • Tick Positions
    Position definition string for tick marks. Format: start..end@step,shape,offset,length,width.

  • Outline Width / Color
    Outline width and color of the tick marks.

  • Display Mode / Ambient Color
    Per-section display mode and ambient color.

Dial

  • Dial Diameter
    Maximum dial size in [mil].

  • Dial Text
    Dial text definition. Format: text@angle, e.g. 12@0|3@90|6@180|9@270.

  • Dial Text Size / Font / Color
    Text size, font and color of the dial labels.

  • Display Mode / Ambient Color
    Dial display mode and ambient color.

Gauge

  • Gauge Start / Gauge End
    Values for gauge arc start and end (0 - 100).

  • Gauge Color
    Color of the gauge arc.

Center Dot

  • Dot Diameter
    Diameter of the center dot in [mil].

  • Dot Color
    Color of the center dot.

  • Hole Diameter / Hole Color
    Diameter and color of the center hole.

  • Display Mode / Ambient Color
    Center dot display mode and ambient color.

  • Tap Diameter
    Tap target diameter in [mil].

  • Visibility
    A condition expression. The Facelet is displayed if this evaluates to 1.
